This season the RTWSO is offering two Christmas cards for sale. The paintings on both the cards are by John Newberry R.W.S. and the greeting inside them reads 'Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year'. All packs contain 10 cards and envelopes.. The artist, John Newberry, was born in Horsham, Sussex in 1934, and educated at Kingswood School, Bath. He read Architecture at Cambridge and Fine Art at King's College, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne with Lawrence Gowing and Victor Pasmore. He later taught at The Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, Oxford University, from 1963-89 (Acting Head 1987-89). For further details, please consult the Order Form.. Remember that the RTWSO exists as a registered charity (no. 295781), so could be part of your charitable giving at Christmas. All proceeds from the sale of the cards will be donated to the RTWSO.
